Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by an ethnically mixed family. Her mother and father are both English. She was raised on the southern part of London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She was a student of acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was on stage in many productions while attending school like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. She was Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her debut in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast on The CW for only two episodes, before it was ended. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the two previous seasons, would be leaving the show with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the new season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba the television series Salem. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked together on Salem and also he played an appearance with her on that show.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress is a member of a large family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents were Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, as well as both during summer and winter. Ashley did not walk; instead, she was a dancer. In the age of two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. She was crowned the top soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
