The daughter of golfers, Lexis could not have been a stranger to playing the mostly male-dominated sports. Her early golfing career proved to be a huge great success. She became the youngest woman to qualify in 2007 for the US Women's Open. In 2007, she was not the winner of the US Women's Open, however, she won her place in the Aldila Junior Classic to be the second. It was her first title to win a title in the American Junior Golf Association.
